How to Apply for SDFCU Membership as an ACA Member

As an added benefit for ACA members, you are eligible for membership* with State Department Federal Credit Union (SDFCU)! Please follow the steps below to apply for membership with SDFCU. You’ll need your home address, social security number, and driver’s license or identification card to complete your application.

 

1. Navigate to SDFCU.org and click on “Join SDFCU Today.”

2. Select “I qualify through my relationship with one of your organizational affiliates:” as your membership eligibility, then select “American Citizens Abroad (ACA)” from the dropdown menu.

3. In the next dropdown menu, please select whether you are an ACA member or a family member of someone who belongs to ACA.

4. Continue filling out the rest of the application.

Check on your SDFCU application status by visiting www.SDFCU.org/membership and clicking on “Join SDFCU Today.” In the pop-up, select “Check Application Status.”
